A man who achieved the greatest thing anyone can, save a life. 

Frederick G Banting (November 14th 1891 – February 21st 1941) was a pioneer in medicine and more specifically, the discovery of insulin. He discovered and extracted the substance to save the population of diabetics. He was knighted and was given a Nobel Prize in his research. And was also awarded a Military Cross for his Bravery.
